About the Role

<p><strong><span>JOB SUMMARY: </span></strong></p> <p><span>The Chief Strategy Officer will serve as a key strategic partner to the CEO, CFO, PE Owners and Executive leadership team during a critical period for the company. This role will lead and support strategic initiatives related to transaction preparation, corporate positioning, M&amp;A activities, and external relations.</span></p> <p><span>This individual will represent both the company and its PE owners in engagement with potential buyers, advisors, and external stakeholders. The role requires a combination of strategic thinking, financial understanding, operational credibility, and hands on execution capability.</span></p> <p><span>This role is expected to remain highly active through the completion of a future transaction process.</span></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong><span>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: </span></strong></p> <ul> <li><span>Partner directly with the CEO on strategic initiatives, transaction preparation, and corporate development activities.</span></li> <li><span>Represent the company and PE owners in discussions with potential buyers, investment banks, advisors, and external stakeholders. </span></li> <li><span>Help shape, refine, and communicate the company story, positioning, and value proposition to external audiences (e.g. company website)</span></li> <li><span>Develop high quality executive presentations, strategic materials, and transaction related content.</span></li> <li><span>Support the CFO in strengthening financial reporting, financial systems, and operational processes to improve transaction readiness.</span></li> <li><span>Lead and support M&amp;A related activities, including evaluations, diligence coordination, integration planning, and strategic assessments.</span></li> <li><span>Provide strategic insight and hands on execution support across high priority business initiatives </span></li> <li><span>Support management preparation for board, investor, and strategic review discussions </span></li> <li><span>Travel extensively across the company&rsquo;s global sites, including meaningful time in Asia, to develop a strong understanding of the company&rsquo;s operations, technologies, manufacturing capabilities, customer base, and organizational connectivity.</span></li> <li><strong><span>Supervisory Responsibility: </span></strong><span>Lead the Director of M&amp;A and Corporate Development (existing M&amp;A Director to report into this role.</span></li> </ul> <p><span><strong><span><span>QUALIFICATIONS &amp; EXPERIENCE:</span></span></strong></span></p> <ul> <li><span>10+ years of experience in corporate strategy, corporate development, investment banking, private equity, consulting, or related leadership roles. </span></li> <li><span>Experience operating in complex global organizations, preferably within medical device, manufacturing. </span></li> <li><span>Experience supporting strategic transactions, ownership transitions, and M&amp;A processes i.e. sizeable &ldquo;Exit experience&rdquo; $2B+</span></li> <li><span>Strong financial and business acumen with ability to work closely with finance leadership </span></li> <li><span>Proven ability to develop compelling strategic narratives and executive level communication materials </span></li> <li><span>Strong executive presence and credibility with investors, advisors, and senior stakeholders </span></li> <li><span>Highly execution oriented with willingness to work hands on across strategic and operational topics </span></li> <li><span>Ability and willingness to travel internationally, including extended time in Asia as needed </span></li> <li><span>Ability to work in fast paced and evolving environments </span></li> </ul>
