​Accountant (General Practice Experience) Salary: Up to £45,000 per annum (DOE) Location: Wynyard (primary office) with travel to Redcar office twice per week Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent Are you an experienced Accountant with a background in general practice? We are looking for a dedicated and driven professional to join our team. Based at our Wynyard office, with regular travel to our Redcar office twice per week, this role offers the opportunity to work across a varied client base and play a key role in delivering high-quality accountancy services. The Role In this position, you will: Prepare year-end accounts for a diverse portfolio of clients Complete and review VAT returns, management accounts, and tax computations Provide clear, practical advice and support to clients Assist with compliance and reporting requirements Contribute to process improvements and ensure accuracy in all financial matters Build strong relationships with both clients and colleagues across offices About You To be successful, you will have: Newly ACCA qualified, recently qualified, or fully qualified (ACA/ACCA), or qualified by experience Essential experience working within a general practice accountancy environment Strong knowledge of accounting standards and tax regulations Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage client relationships The ability to work independently and as part of a team Flexibility to work from both Wynyard and Redcar offices What We Offer A competitive salary up to £45,000 depending on experience A supportive and professional working environment Opportunities for career progression and development A modern office setting with flexible working arrangements If you are looking to take the next step in your accountancy career within a respected practice environment, we would love to hear from you. ​
