About the Role
<p><strong>Anderson Knight is delighted to be recruiting for a Customer Account Specialist on behalf of a well-established organisation.</strong></p>
<p>This opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys helping customers, is confident navigating sensitive conversations, and thrives in a problem-solving environment. Whether you already have experience in collections or financial services, or you’re bringing strong customer service experience and looking to develop in a new sector, we’d love to hear from you.</p>
<p>You’ll play a key role in supporting customers experiencing financial difficulties, helping them find manageable solutions while delivering a high standard of customer care.</p>
<p><strong>Location:</strong> Finnieston <em>(Hybrid working available following training and probation)</em><br />
<strong>Salary:</strong> £26,000<br />
<strong>Hours:</strong> 35 hours per week<br />
<strong>Shift Pattern:</strong> Rotational shifts with 1 in 4 weekends <em>(day off in lieu provided)</em></p>

<li>8:00am – 4:00pm (3 weeks)</li>
<li>12:00pm – 8:00pm (1 week)</li>
</ul>
<p>Key Responsibilities</p>
<ul>
<li>Engage with customers who have fallen behind on payments, ensuring all conversations are handled professionally, respectfully, and with empathy.</li>
<li>Manage both inbound and outbound customer calls to understand individual circumstances and agree suitable repayment arrangements.</li>
<li>Conduct income and expenditure assessments to identify realistic and sustainable solutions.</li>
<li>Maintain accurate and detailed records of customer interactions and agreed outcomes.</li>
<li>Work towards individual and team performance objectives while ensuring fair and positive customer outcomes.</li>
<li>Deliver excellent customer service while adhering to company policies and regulatory standards.</li>
</ul>
<p>What We’re Looking For</p>
<ul>
<li>Previous experience within customer service, account management, or a telephone-based role.</li>
<li>Collections or financial services experience would be advantageous, though not essential.</li>
<li>Strong communication skills with the ability to manage challenging or sensitive conversations confidently.</li>
<li>Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow established processes.</li>
<li>A positive, resilient attitude and willingness to learn and develop.</li>
