Program Overview & Responsibilities:
- Remote Comprehensive Training: Participate in a structured, remote-based training program covering essential caregiving skills, health and safety, safeguarding, communication techniques, and person-centered care principles.
- Virtual Skill Development: Engage in online modules, webinars, and simulated practical sessions to build confidence and competence.
- Post-Training Transition: Upon successful completion of training, you will be placed in a role providing direct care to clients in their homes within a designated geographical area.
- Personalized Care: Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, medication reminders, meal preparation, and light household tasks.
- Emotional Support: Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering their independence and well-being.
- Monitoring and Reporting: Observe and report any changes in a client's condition or needs to the care coordinator.
- Adherence to Care Plans: Follow individualized care plans meticulously, ensuring the client's needs are met with dignity and respect.
- Maintaining a Safe Environment: Ensure the client's living environment is safe and comfortable.
- Professional Conduct: Uphold the highest standards of professionalism, empathy, and confidentiality at all times.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with care coordinators, families, and other healthcare professionals.
- A genuine passion for helping others and a compassionate nature.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, suitable for remote interaction and client engagement.
- Reliability, punctuality, and a strong sense of responsibility.
- Ability to learn new skills and follow instructions precisely.
- Basic IT literacy to engage with online training platforms.
- A proactive and positive attitude.
- Willingness to undertake further training and development.
- Must be eligible to work in the UK.
- A driving license and access to a vehicle may be required for the field-based component post-training.
- Willingness to undergo background checks (DBS).
