Senior Consultant - Outwards Reinsurance

New Role: Senior Consultant - Outwards Reinsurance City of London I am currently partnered with a growing business, who are seeking a Senior Consultant to join their Outwards Reinsurance team. This role will work on a project basis with a number of leading (re)insurers in the market with outwards transformation projects, as well as driving business development for the business. This may include creating Target Operating Models, improving processes and more. My client is looking for someone with 3+ years working for a (re)insurer/consultancy, with a focus on Outwards/Ceded Operations. Key Responsibilities Playing a central role in the growth of the outwards reinsurance practice through thought leadership, knowledge sharing, and capability development across the wider team. Supporting the delivery of transformation programmes for leading global (re)insurance clients. This may include gathering and documenting requirements, designing future-state processes, facilitating workshops, developing and reviewing Target Operating Models (TOMs), analysing and improving processes and data flows, performing reconciliations, acting as liaison between client and vendor, supporting project management and governance activities, delivering training on new systems, and undertaking related responsibilities as required. Maintaining a strong understanding of the outwards reinsurance systems landscape and developing in-depth knowledge of key partner platforms, including their underlying data models and functionality. Contributing to business development and thought leadership efforts, which may include organising or attending industry events, conducting market research, producing insight papers, preparing proposals, supporting pipeline management, and engaging in account development activities in line with business priorities and personal areas of interest.
