Senior Mobile Equipment Operator

Job Summary: Arcosa Aggregates is seeking a Senior Mobile Equipment Operator based out of our Canal Point, FL plant. This position is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of heavy mobile equipment used in mining. Equipment operated may include bulldozers, excavators, and loaders. The operator will perform tasks such as excavation, grading, and material handling in support of plant and production objectives. Day to Day Actively promote safety awareness and continuous improvement through positive recognition Comply with all industry safety rules, procedures and applicable government regulations. The ability to operate at least 3 pieces of mobile equipment (haul truck, farm tractor, water truck, rubber tire backhoe, front loader, etc.) Must have excavator and dozer experience Operate equipment in quarry or production. May be involved in safety committees or initiatives Identifies any safety problems or concerns and reports any unsafe conditions to Supervisor including near misses and any other areas where safety can be improved Perform daily pre-shift equipment and workplace inspections to maintain equipment performance Communicates with load and unload areas, hauls materials safely to designated areas and maintains safe speed and observes all plant traffic controls Maintain strong communications with plant team members, supervisors and customers serviced Perform other duties or responsibilities as assigned
