serve.</font><font size="3" style="font-family: "Times New Roman";"> </font></p> <p style="text-align: left;"><font size="3" style="font-family: "Times New Roman";">The Maintenance Worker, PRN (As Needed Basis). installs, maintains and repairs the facility's building structures and systems, including plumbing, electrical wiring and fixtures, machinery, equipment, electronics, vehicles and grounds.<span> </span></font></p> <ul><li style="text-align: left; margin-bottom: 0pt;"><font size="3" style="font-family: "Times New Roman";">Maintain and repair physical structure of facility in keeping with safe and secure operations of the facility.</font></li><li style="text-align: left; margin-bottom: 0pt;"><font size="3" style="font-family: "Times New Roman";">Inspect and listen to machines and equipment to diagnose malfunctions.<span> </span>Dismantle defective or malfunctioning machines and equipment, installs new or repaired parts, and tests operation following repair.</font></li><li style="text-align: left; margin-bottom: 0pt;"><font size="3" style="font-family: "Times New Roman";">Install and repair electrical apparatus, such as wiring, and electrical and electronic components of machinery and equipment.</font></li><li style="text-align: left; margin-bottom: 0pt;"><font size="3" style="font-family: "Times New Roman";">Perform preventative maintenance on equipment according to the preventative maintenance plan or as directed by supervisor.<span> </span>Clean and lubricates shafts, bearings, gears and other machinery.</font></li><li style="text-align: left; margin-bottom: 0pt;"><font size="3" style="font-family: "Times New Roman";">Provide for the proper supervision and tracking of inmates/residents assigned to the Maintenance Department.<span> </span>Escort inmates/residents or coordinates the movement of inmates/residents to and from different areas.</font></li></ul></font></span></p><p style="margin-bottom: 0pt;"><span style="font-family: "Times New Roman";"><font size="3"><span style="color: black; font-family: "Times New Roman";"></span><p><strong><span style="font-family: "Times New Roman";"><font size="3">Qualifications: </font></span></strong></p><ul><li><span style="font-family: "Times New Roman";"><font size="3">High School diploma, GED certification or equivalent is required.<span></span></font></span></li><li><span style="font-family: "Times New Roman";"><font size="3"><span style="font-family: "Times New Roman";"></span>Two years of experience in general maintenance or construction is required.<span></span></font></span></li><li><span style="font-family: "Times New Roman";"><font size="3"><span style="font-family: "Times New Roman";"></span>Additional equivalent technical/trade school courses in a maintenance or construction related field may be substituted for the required experience on a year-for-year basis.<span></span></font></span></li><li><span style="font-family: "Times New Roman";"><font size="3"><span style="font-family: "Times New Roman";"></span>Knowledge of building construction and the operation of building systems is preferred.<span></span></font></span></li><li><span style="font-family: "Times New Roman";"><font size="3"><span style="font-family: "Times New Roman";"></span>A valid driver's license is required.</font></span></li><li><span style="font-family: "Times New Roman";"><font size="3">Minimum age requirement: Must be at least 18 years of age. </font></span></li></ul><p><span style="font-family: "Times New Roman";"><font size="3"><em>CoreCivic is a Drug-Free Workplace and EOE-including Disability/Veteran.<br><br></em></font></span></p></font></span></p>
