In addition to executing and reviewing customer transactions with precision, the Senior Specialist plays a critical role in driving process excellence, operational stability, and cross-functional alignment across the order-to-cash lifecycle. This role serves as a subject matter expert within the channel, proactively identifying risks, analyzing financial and operational impacts, and implementing sustainable process improvements. The Senior Specialist partners closely with internal stakeholders and external customers (wholesalers, pharmacies, patients) to ensure service excellence while optimizing system capabilities and improving scalability. [strong style="box-sizing: inherit; margin: 0px; padding: 0px;"]Key Tasks & Responsibilities Execute and review complex customer transactions with a high degree of accuracy and revenue awareness. Serve as primary point of contact for channel customers, providing responsive and professional support. Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for order-to-cash processes, channel dynamics, and system functionality. Lead or support cross-functional projects focused on process improvement, system optimization, and operational efficiency. Analyze operational data and financial impacts to identify root causes of discrepancies, revenue leakage, or process breakdowns. Develop and implement corrective and preventive actions that drive long-term process stability. Proactively identify operational, financial, and compliance risks, recommend and implement mitigation strategies. Partner with Finance, Supply Chain, Trade, and IT to enhance reporting, improve workflows, and optimize SAP/system capabilities. Drive improved system utilization to enhance automation, accuracy, and scalability. Contribute to SOP development, documentation updates, and process standardization. Mentor and support junior specialists, providing guidance on complex transactions, issue resolution, and process understanding. Provide analysis & insights into downstream financial implications of channel activity. Influence internal and external stakeholders through clear communication and recommendations. Location: Boston, MA (Hybrid – 1 day onsite per week) Duration: 12-Month Contract Sirius Staffing is partnering with a leading global biopharmaceutical organization to identify an experienced Senior Commercial Operations Specialist to support critical commercial operations and order-to-cash activities. Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across multiple business functions. Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience. Preferred Pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry experience. Experience supporting wholesalers, specialty pharmacies, or pharmaceutical distribution channels. Knowledge of serialization and pharmaceutical distribution processes. Experience leading process improvement or continuous improvement initiatives.
