English is their working language</span></p></li></ul><p><span><strong>The opportunity</strong></span></p><p><span>You'll transform the financial operations from a single-entity startup into a professionally managed, multi-jurisdictional group ready for rapid scale and institutional investment.</span></p><p><span>Based in Denmark, you'll navigate complex international accounting, multi-entity consolidation and high-growth financing while maintaining startup agility.</span></p><p></p><p><span><strong>Core responsibilities</strong></span></p><p><span>Financial architecture & Group structure</span></p><ul><li><p><span>Design and implement financial governance for holding company based in Denmark across international entities</span></p></li><li><p><span>Lead post-merger financial integration, harmonising systems and establishing group-wide controls</span></p></li><li><p><span>Ensure compliance with local GAAP, tax regulations, and statutory reporting</span></p></li></ul><p></p><p><span>Financial operations & scaling</span></p><ul><li><p><span>Build scalable financial systems to support continued growth</span></p></li><li><p><span>Manage multi-currency operations, inter-company financing, and cash flow optimisation</span></p></li><li><p><span>Maintain rigorous liquidity management across jurisdictions</span></p></li></ul><p></p><p><span>Strategic finance & investor relations</span></p><ul><li><p><span>Partner with the CEO on Series A/B/C fundraising, due diligence, and term sheet negotiations</span></p></li><li><p><span>Deliver executive-level insights to the Board and manage relationships with VCs (Novo Holdings, EIFO etc.)</span></p></li><li><p><span>Serve as the primary financial contact for investors, auditors, banks, and tax authorities.</span></p></li></ul><p></p><p><span>Leadership & team building</span></p><ul><li><p><span>Lead recruitment and development of a small, international finance team</span></p></li><li><p><span>Partner cross-functionally with CTO, operations, and commercial teams</span></p></li><li><p><span>Manage distributed teams across multiple time zones and cultures</span></p></li></ul><p></p><p><span><strong>What you bring</strong></span></p><p><span>Required:</span></p><ul><li><p><span>10+ years’ finance experience, 5+ years as CFO/Finance Director at high-growth tech companies</span></p></li><li><p><span>Multi-entity expertise: Managing finances across multiple jurisdictions (Denmark, Germany or EU)</span></p></li><li><p><span>Startup/scale-up experience: Fundraising cycles, burn rate management, rapid growth</span></p></li><li><p><span>International accounting: IFRS, local GAAP, cross-border consolidation</span></p></li><li><p><span>Qualified accountant (CPA, CA, ACCA, Wirtschaftsprüfer or equivalent)</span></p></li><li><p><span>Fluent in English;
