Job Title: Program Manager - Power & Energy Transition
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Program Manager - Power & Energy Transition to support a large-scale infrastructure program focused on powering new logistics and distribution facilities across the United States.
This is a unique opportunity for a professional who combines strong program management experience with a solid understanding of electrical infrastructure and utility coordination. The successful candidate will lead cross-functional initiatives to ensure new facilities receive power on schedule by working closely with utility providers, engineering , construction partners, and internal stakeholders.
This is not an IT or software program management role. Candidates should have experience managing infrastructure, utility, electrical, energy, or power-related projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead power planning and utility coordination for new infrastructure and facility projects.
- Manage utility interconnection activities, including capacity assessments, connection timelines, and coordination with utility providers.
- Partner with engineering, construction, design, and operations teams to ensure projects remain on schedule.
- Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, risk registers, and executive status reports.
- Identify project risks, resolve issues, and manage cross-functional dependencies.
- Coordinate multiple concurrent projects while balancing competing priorities.
- Support temporary power planning and alternative solutions when permanent utility connections are delayed.
- Facilitate stakeholder meetings, communicate project updates, and drive timely decision-making.
- Ensure successful project delivery through strong planning, governance, and execution.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of program or project management experience supporting infrastructure, utilities, energy, electrical, construction, or industrial projects.
- Experience working directly with electric utility providers on utility interconnections or power delivery projects.
- Strong understanding of electrical infrastructure, including substations, transformers, electrical distribution systems, and power capacity planning.
- Experience managing multiple projects and coordinating cross-functional stakeholders.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and business teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting large-scale logistics, industrial, manufacturing, data center, or infrastructure programs.
- Background in utility distribution, electrical engineering, grid modernization, renewable energy, or power systems.
- Experience with temporary power solutions, generator deployments, or microgrid projects.
- PMP or similar project management certification is a plus.
