About the Role
A leading precision engineering business in St Neots is looking to hire a CNC Tool Setter to support their Milling department. This is an ideal opportunity for a current CNC Machinist who wants to move off the machines and take a more structured, organised role within tooling, setup and production support.
You’ll join a modern, well-invested facility producing high-value engineered components for a wide range of industries where you have the opportunity to make the role your own due to a retirement within the team.
What you'll be doing:
Build and assemble tooling according to setup information.
Pre-set tools accurately using a Zoller pre-setter.
Manage tooling stock, holders, fixtures and collets using TMS software.
Ensure tooling is prepped and ready so CNC Setters can keep production flowing.
What were looking for:
Background in precision engineering—CNC machining or similar.
Strong understanding of tooling, engineering equipment and workshop processes.
Organised, reliable and able to prioritise workload effectively.
Positive attitude with willingness to learn new techniques and equipment.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a clean, modern, well-invested facility offering a stable role, great team culture and a genuine opportunity to step away from hands-on machining while still using your engineering skillset.
If the role sounds of interest click to apply and Kieran Evans will be in contact to discuss the finer details.
