About the Role

<p>We are currently looking for a skilled <strong>Manager of Environment Projects in Air Quality</strong> to oversee and supervise air regulation approval and adherence projects in various sectors, such as <strong>energy, manufacturing, industrial, business, and transportation</strong>. This role provides a wide range of projects, chances for professional and leadership development, and opportunities for growth within a lively and expanding <strong>Air & Sound</strong> department.</p>
<p>As a vital part of our <strong>Global Environmental Services Division</strong>, you will collaborate with clients, regulatory bodies, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure compliance with local, state, and national air quality laws.</p>
<h4><strong>Primary Duties</strong></h4>
<ul>
<li>
<p>Lead the development and submission of <strong>air permit applications</strong>, such as Title V and state-level permits.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Conduct <strong>site evaluations and environmental audits</strong> to confirm compliance with relevant air quality standards.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Estimate emissions, covering <strong>regular, start-up, shutdown, maintenance, and greenhouse gas (GHG)</strong> emissions.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Act as the main project manager, overseeing <strong>timelines, finances, deliverables, and client interactions</strong>.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Help in creating multi-media environmental compliance reports, including:</p>
<ul>
<li>
<p><strong>Plans for Preventing Stormwater Pollution (SWPPPs)</strong></p>
</li>
<li>
<p><strong>Plans for Preventing, Controlling, and Responding to Spills (SPCC)</strong></p>
</li>
<li>
<p><strong>Filings under the Emergency Planning and Community Right-to-Know Act (EPCRA)</strong></p>
</li>
</ul>
</li>
<li>
<p>Ensure compliance with <strong>company and site-specific safety protocols</strong>.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Provide technical expertise, guidance, and mentoring to internal teams.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Perform other assigned duties.</p>
</li>
</ul>
<h4><strong>Requirements</strong></h4>
<ul>
<li>
<p>Bachelor’s degree in <strong>Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering</strong>, or another related field from an accredited institution.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>A minimum of <strong>7 years</strong> of relevant air quality experience (<strong>10+ years preferred</strong>).</p>
<ul>
<li>
<p>A Master’s degree can replace 1 year of experience.</p>
</li>
</ul>
</li>
<li>
<p>Demonstrated experience in <strong>environmental consulting</strong>, particularly in air approval and compliance.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Thorough understanding of <strong>Clean Air Act regulations</strong>, including:</p>
<ul>
<li>
<p><strong>New Source Review (NSR) / Prevention of Significant Deterioration (PSD)</strong></p>
</li>
<li>
<p><strong>National Emission Standards for Hazardous Air Pollutants (NESHAPs)</strong></p>
</li>
<li>
<p><strong>New Source Performance Standards (NSPS)</strong></p>
</li>
<li>
<p><strong>Title V and Title VI permits</strong></p>
</li>
</ul>
</li>
<li>
<p>Familiarity with <strong>air dispersion modeling tools</strong> (e.g., AERMOD, AERSCREEN, CALPUFF, VISCREEN, PLUVUE, SLAB) is a bonus.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>An understanding of <strong>environmental sustainability</strong> or ESG reporting is advantageous.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information clearly.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Proficiency in <strong>Microsoft Office</strong> (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).</p>
</li>
<li>
<p>Valid driver’s license required.</p>
