TALENT ACQUISITION SPECIALIST

ROLE IMPACT
The Contract Talent Acquisition Specialist provides hands-on recruiting support in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. This role partners closely with Recruiters to manage active requisitions, conduct candidate phone screens, maintain recruiting data, and help move candidates efficiently through the hiring process. Success requires strong candidate communication, accurate documentation, and consistent follow-through.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Support active requisitions through candidate review, dispositioning, applicant tracking, pipeline management, interview scheduling, and follow-up.
• Conduct high-volume initial phone screens to assess candidate qualifications, experience, and interest while explaining the role, hiring process, and next steps.
• Document detailed screening notes and recommendations and maintain accurate candidate and requisition data in the applicant tracking system (ATS).
• Partner with Recruiters, Talent Acquisition Coordinators, and HR partners to maintain timely candidate communication and seamless hiring execution.
• Support recruiting reports, requisition updates, documentation requirements, and ad hoc projects while managing short turnaround timelines.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• 3–5 years of recruiting, talent acquisition, or HR recruiting support experience, with demonstrated experience supporting multiple requisitions.
• Experience conducting candidate phone screens and working in Workday.
• Strong written and verbal communication, organization, attention to detail, and ability to manage competing priorities in a high-volume recruiting environment.

PREFERRED SKILLS
• High-volume recruiting, full-cycle recruiting, recruiting/sourcing, or agency recruiting experience.
• Prior contract recruiting or recruiting coordinator experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience; familiarity with corporate hiring processes and recruiting compliance standards.
