Fire & Security Design Engineer / Estimator

Job Title: Fire & Security Design Engineer / Estimator Location: Yorkshire to Scotland (Remote with travel) Salary: £45,000 per annum Are you a Fire & Security Design Engineer / Estimator based between Yorkshire and Scotland, looking for your next step? As a Design Engineer / Estimator, you will be responsible for producing system designs, cost estimates, and supporting project delivery across fire and security projects. You will be working for a company specialising in delivering fire and security solutions within the public sector. Responsibilities: Produce detailed designs and quotations for fire and security systems Prepare CAD drawings where required Conduct site surveys and liaise with clients to ensure design accuracy Provide technical support to project delivery teams Ensure all designs meet relevant standards and specifications Manage multiple projects, delivering accurate cost estimates and solutions Experience and Certifications required: A minimum of 3+ years’ experience in a similar role Experience across Fire & Security systems Knowledge of surveying, design, and estimating processes CAD experience FIA certification (Fire Alarm Design) Full UK driving licence Please apply with an up-to-date CV for more information.
