Patient Care

  • Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs)
  • Support bathing, grooming, toileting, dressing, and oral hygiene
  • Measure and record vital signs accurately
  • Assist with patient mobility, transfers, repositioning, and ambulation
  • Support meal delivery and nutritional assistance
  • Provide comfort measures including linen changes and skin care
  • Collect non-invasive specimens as directed
  • Assist nursing staff with clinical procedures and patient monitoring
  • Prepare equipment and maintain patient room readiness
  • Document care accurately within electronic health record systems
  • Follow infection prevention and PPE protocols
  • Observe and report changes in patient condition
  • Support fall prevention and patient safety initiatives
  • Maintain compliance with HIPAA and hospital standards
  • Communicate effectively with nurses, physicians, and care teams
  • Participate in shift handoff communication

  • Active California CNA Certification
  • Current BLS Certification
  • Previous hospital experience preferred
  • MAB or CPI Certification Required
  • Fire Safety Class completion required
  • Minimum six months of acute care hospital experience preferred
  • Familiarity with electronic health record systems
  • Strong inpatient patient care experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Strong organizational and time management abilities
  • Ability to remain calm in fast-paced clinical situations
  • Knowledge of infection prevention and safety practices
