Eden Brown Synergy is currently looking for an experienced Social Worker (Assessment & Intervention Team) for Sandwell Children's Trust Council . Payrate : Up to £33.30 Duties and Responsibilities: * Providing Section 17 support to families and children in need * Carrying out home visits for monitoring purposes/ to promote the welfare of and to safeguard the children * Liaising/ Working close with partnership agencies to support the families and meet the children/ young peoples needs * Producing Initial Child Protection Conference reports * Convening and chairing Core Group Meetings Benefits of working with Eden Brown Synergy includes: * Work directly with children and families involved in Child in Need, Child Protection, and Care Proceedings. * Carry out assessments, create support plans, and provide ongoing case management. * Prepare reports and contribute to court work previous court experience preferred. * Work closely with partners and agencies to keep children safe and supported. * Office-based 3 days per week, with an early start date preferred.
