About the Role
<p><strong>Class 1 Driver</strong></p>
<p>Vanta Staffing are recruiting for a Class 1 Driver to work for our client based in the Reading area. This will involve trunking work, a perfect role for drivers who want consistent work with a prestigious company.</p>
<p><strong>Requirements of a Class 1 Driver:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Minimum 18 months HGV driving (Cat C+E) recent experience.</li>
<li>Be able to complete 2-3 runs – Day work / Trunking work – Nights</li>
<li>Have a valid CPC and digi tacho</li>
<li>No more than 6 points (No DR or IN)</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Details:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Salary: £18ph – Days / £19ph – Nights</li>
<li>Working hours: Monday to Friday (05.00 am start) or (17.00 start)</li>
<li>Location: Reading</li>
<li>Duration: Temp Ongoing work</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Role of a Class 1 Driver:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Complete trunking runs; trailer swapping will be involved – Nights</li>
<li>Collections and delivery work (2-3 runs) – Days </li>
<li>Complete vehicle checks</li>
<li>Being flexible and able to complete runs safely</li>
</ul>
