About the Role
Our client with 5 offices across London and Essex are recruiting for a New Business Executive to join their team. This role combines sales, client relationship management, and compliance, playing a key part in attracting new clients for the Property Law department and supporting revenue growth.<br> <br> The ideal candidate will have experience in sales or client management, preferably in legal or professional services, and be comfortable with compliance processes.<br> <br> You will act as the first point of contact for prospective clients, converting enquiries into instructions, building strong relationships, and identifying cross-selling opportunities across the firm.<br> <br> <strong>Responsibilities of the New Business Executive:</strong><ul><li>Respond to new client and introducer enquiries via phone, email, and online, qualifying leads and assessing their needs.</li><li>Track and follow up on leads to maximise conversion opportunities using the firm’s CMS.</li><li>Provide clear, tailored information, proposals, and fee estimates to prospective clients.</li><li>Promote the firm’s property services and identify opportunities to upsell additional offerings.</li><li>Manage client onboarding, collecting required information and documentation.</li><li>Complete AML checks, ID verification, and source of funds/wealth reviews.</li><li>Work closely with fee earners to ensure a smooth handover once matters are opened.</li><li>Maintain accurate records of leads, conversions, and marketing sources.</li><li>Support and contribute to business development and marketing initiatives, identifying cross-selling opportunities.</li><li>Achieve agreed targets for new client acquisition and revenue growth.</li></ul><strong>Person specification for this New Business Executive role:</strong><ul><li>Must have full UK rights to work and no need of sponsorship</li><li>Proven experience in sales, and/or client relationship management, ideally within the legal or professional services sector (minimum 2 years).</li><li>Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding targets.</li><li>Strong communication and organisational skills with a keen eye for detail.</li><li>Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues.</li><li>Comfortable working with compliance processes including AML and onboarding requirements.</li><li>A natural relationship-builder who enjoys turning enquiries into opportunities.</li><li>Commercially minded and target-driven.</li><li>Committed to providing excellent client service.</li><li>Legal secretarial, administration or any other type of office based experience is essential.</li><li>Experience of working with a practice management system would be preferred.</li><li>Experience in law firm compliance requirements and on-boarding is desirable.</li><li>An enthusiastic team player.</li></ul><br> If you're a New Business Executive ready to take the next step in your career, apply today.
