Home All Open Positions Job Title General information Posting ID PSR1JP00098525 Type of employment Contract Organisation Office for National Statistics Contract duration 6 months Location Newport Workplace Type Hybrid Description & Requirements On behalf of ONS, we are looking for a Digital Business Analyst x2 (INSIDE IR35) for a 6 month contract which is a hybrid role so requires up to 2 days a week in the Newport office The Office for National Statistics (ONS) is the UK’s largest producer of official statistics, covering a range of key economic, social and demographic topics. These include measuring changes in the value of the UK economy, estimating the size, geographic distribution and characteristics of the population, and providing indicators of price inflation, employment, earnings, crime and migration. SC Clearance is an essential requirement for this role, as a minimum you must be willing & eligible to undergo checks. Please note, due to the exceptional requirements of this position (short-term nature of this role and speed at which we require a postholder in situ) preference may be given to candidates who meet all of the essential criteria and hold active security clearance. As a Digital Business Analyst, your main responsibilities will be: Working to an agreed minimum viable product (MVP), print and scope. Identify and implement opportunities to analyse and optimise current services and processes. Use a wide range of techniques to model situations confidently and gain agreement from SME's and stakeholders. Report on system quality and collect metrics on test cases Apply a digital understanding to the work and identify and implement solutions. Work innovatively and use the most appropriate tools and methods. Identify issues and risks and able to analyse and report test activities and results. Essential Skills Extensive experience as a business analyst is fast paced working environments ideally in central government Experience across requirements management Stakeholder engagement at all levels across the business Jira experience and skillset Strong self starter with a proactive approach to all duties Please be aware that this role can only be worked within the UK and not Overseas.
