Schedule:
Candidates must be flexible and available to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, overnights, weekdays, weekends, and holidays. Potential shifts include:
6:00am–2:30pm
6:30am–3:00pm
7:00am–3:30pm
7:30am–4:00pm
8:00am–4:30pm
8:30am–5:00pm
9:00am–5:30pm
11:00am–7:30pm
1:00pm–9:30pm
3:00pm–11:30pm
Qualifications:
Active, unrestricted Pharmacist license in any U.S. state, territory, commonwealth, or the District of Columbia
Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from an ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy (preferred)
BLS certification through the American Heart Association
Minimum of one (1) year of recent inpatient pharmacy experience, including Unit Dose experience
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
Job Responsibilities:
Perform sterile processing and ensure compliance with applicable safety and regulatory standards
Compound prescriptions, including formulation, preparation, bulk compounding, dispensing, and preservation of medications, chemicals, and investigational drugs
Develop specialized formulations or alternative vehicles to meet individualized patient needs
Support research initiatives, including preparation and handling of investigational medications
Provide consultation and guidance on drug therapy management and appropriate medication usage
Perform administrative, consultative, and staff advisory duties related to hospital pharmacy operations and services
