Hot Metal Forging Technician
Pay: $21.00 - $23.00/hr.

We' re seeking a motivated, skilled, and safety-focused Hot Metal Forging Technician to join our team. If you have experience working with hot metal, operating industrial equipment, and maintaining production efficiency, we want to hear from you!

Schedule

Weekend 1st Shift (Friday - Saturday - Sunday)
  4: 00 AM - 5: 00 PM

Training Requirement:
Must be available to train during the week for approximately 4 weeks before transitioning to the weekend schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• 
  Position hot metal stock onto forging dies, ensuring proper alignment for successful forging operations.
  
• 
  Safely remove hot forgings from dies using manual pry bars and power tools.
  
• 
  Organize forge tables by serial number and prepare metal stock through sandblasting and lubricant application.
  
• 
  Stamp part identification numbers and other required information onto hot or cold forgings.
  
• 
  Operate sandblast machines, forklifts, and related manufacturing equipment safely and efficiently.
  

Qualifications

• 
  High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  
• 
  Previous experience in a manufacturing or metal forging environment preferred.
  
• 
  Ability to read, understand, and follow written instructions.
  
• 
  Basic math skills.
  
• 
  Forklift experience required.
  
• 
  Ability to safely operate power tools, sandblasting equipment, and other manufacturing machinery.

  Power Tools: 2 years (Required)

  Forklift Operation: 2 years (Required)
  
• 
  Manufacturing: 2 years (Required)
  
• 
  Hot Metal Forging: 2 years (Preferred)
