<p><strong>Environmental Health Officer needed in Honiton Paying £29.62 per hr ref 5299040</strong></p>
<p><strong>Full time hours on a temporary basis</strong> </p>
</p>
<p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Undertake inspections of residential and commercial premises to assess compliance with relevant housing and public health legislation.</li>
<li>Investigate complaints relating to housing conditions, public health concerns, and environmental health matters.</li>
<li>Identify hazards and risks and make appropriate recommendations to secure improvements.</li>
<li>Provide advice, guidance, and support to residents, landlords, businesses, and other stakeholders on legislative requirements and best practice.</li>
<li>Prepare reports, correspondence, notices, and legal documentation in accordance with statutory requirements.</li>
<li>Undertake enforcement action where necessary, including serving notices and supporting legal proceedings.</li>
<li>Maintain accurate records and case management systems.</li>
<li>Work collaboratively with internal departments, partner agencies, and community organisations to improve health and housing outcomes.</li>
<li>Contribute to the delivery of service objectives and performance targets.</li>
