About the Role
<p>A respected and mission-driven behavioral health organization in the Bronx is seeking a dedicated Psychiatrist to join their residential treatment team. <p>Title: Psychiatrist<br />
Location: Bronx, NY (On-site, Residential Program)<br />
Salary: $150 to $180/hour<br />
Benefits: Hourly part-time role; malpractice coverage provided (no additional benefits)</p>
<p>Responsibilities of the Psychiatrist:<br />
• Conduct psychiatric evaluations and ongoing medication management for residents within the program.<br />
• Collaborate closely with clinical, nursing, and support staff to develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans.<br />
• Provide crisis intervention, stabilization, and clinical oversight as needed.<br />
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation using the Myevolv electronic health record system.<br />
• Participate in care team meetings and contribute to continuous quality improvement efforts.<br />
• Work 3 days per week, totaling 21 hours, with schedule options of 10am–6pm or 11am–7pm.</p>
<p>Requirements of the Psychiatrist:<br />
• Active NYS Medical License and Board Certification/Eligibility in Psychiatry.<br />
• Experience working in a residential, inpatient, or community mental health setting preferred.<br />
• Strong clinical judgment and comfort working with diverse, high-need populations.<br />
• Familiarity with Myevolv or willingness to be trained.<br />
• Ability to work fully on-site within the Bronx-based residential program.</p>
