ProjectWise Manager
Focus: Platform Ownership, Governance & Assurance
Role Summary
The ProjectWise Manager is a senior, strategic role responsible for the overall configuration, governance, performance and compliance of the ProjectWise CDE across the alliance. This role ensures that ProjectWise is correctly mobilized, secure, performant, and aligned to ISO 19650 and client requirements.
This position suits candidates who thrive in system ownership, process design, and enterprise‑level configuration, rather than day‑to‑day CAD/BIM delivery.
- Own and administer ProjectWise datasources, environments, attributes, workflows and states
- Define and maintain role‑based access control (RBAC) across projects and alliance partners
- Design and manage folder structures, managed work areas and metadata schemas
- Implement and maintain Managed Workspaces (CSBs, dynamic frameworks, application associations)
- Ensure alignment with ISO 19650 CDE principles (WIP, Shared, Published, revisions, status codes)
- Configure automation and orchestration services (PDF, iModel, attribute exchange, scheduled jobs)
- Optimize system performance, caching servers, storage areas and Delta File Transfer
- Plan and test ProjectWise upgrades, integrations and compatibility with Bentley tools
- Diagnose and resolve complex permissions, rendition, indexing and workflow issues
- Provide governance guidance, training and escalation support across the alliance
