To support this expansion, they are now seeking a <strong data-start="479" data-end="517">German-speaking Senior Tax Manager</strong> to lead on all corporate tax matters related to their business operations in Germany.</p>

<h2 data-start="612" data-end="629"><strong data-start="615" data-end="627">The Role</strong></h2>
<p data-start="630" data-end="931">As German-speaking Senior Tax Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing German tax compliance, managing risks, and leading tax filings, audits, and reporting. You will manage teams in both the UK and Germany, while collaborating closely with global tax leadership on strategic initiatives.</p>
<h3 data-start="933" data-end="960">Key Responsibilities:</h3>

<li data-start="933" data-end="960">Lead direct tax compliance and US tax reporting for Germany and selected European markets</li>
<li data-start="933" data-end="960">Oversee German tax compliance, planning, and reporting</li>
<li data-start="933" data-end="960">Act as German Tax Compliance Management System Officer, reporting risks and updates to senior leadership</li>
<li data-start="933" data-end="960">Manage German tax audits, including travel to Germany to liaise with tax authorities and finance teams</li>
<li data-start="933" data-end="960">Advise finance heads and educate internal stakeholders on changes in tax legislation</li>
<li data-start="933" data-end="960">Prepare US GAAP tax provisions, forecasts, and contingency reports</li>
<li data-start="933" data-end="960">Support cash flow planning and analysis related to taxes</li>
<li data-start="933" data-end="960">Ensure internal controls are aligned with SOX, corporate, and local compliance standards</li>
<li data-start="933" data-end="960">Drive efficiency through technology in tax calculations and reporting</li>
<li data-start="933" data-end="960">Manage external advisory budgets and internal resourcing</li>
<li data-start="933" data-end="960">Foster a high-performance culture, emphasizing teamwork, accountability, and customer focus</li>

<li data-start="1881" data-end="1907">Fluent in German & English (spoken and written)</li>
<li data-start="1881" data-end="1907">Degree qualified with relevant German tax credentials (e.g. <strong data-start="2022" data-end="2039">Steuerberater</strong>, Fachassistent für Steuerrecht, Steuerfachangestellte)</li>
<li data-start="1881" data-end="1907">Proven experience in corporate tax compliance & reporting, ideally in a multinational environment</li>
<li data-start="1881" data-end="1907">Strong understanding of accounting principles, tax provisions, and financial statement disclosures</li>
<li data-start="1881" data-end="1907">Leadership and people management experience</li>
<li data-start="1881" data-end="1907">Knowledge of <strong data-start="2365" data-end="2376">US GAAP</strong> (desirable)</li>
<li data-start="1881" data-end="1907">Able to work across cross-border teams in a fast-paced, complex environment</li>
<li data-start="1881" data-end="1907">Highly organised, detail-focused, and able to manage multiple priorities</li>
