About the Role
- Providing technical assistance and supervision to the social services staff.
- Supervise staff in the maintenance of case records ensuring that a continuum of care in mental health, employment, substance abuse and recreation.
- Responsible for ensuring case records are maintained per agency standards, kept up to date, contain pertinent information relevant to the ILP and meet the requirements establish by the NYS Department of Social Services (NYSDSS).
- Review weekly statistical/narrative reports; evaluate staff in the performance of duties; coordinate and participate in case conferences; establishing and maintaining linkage to resources which meet the needs of residents: and will develop and enforce staffing schedules, ensuring that adequate coverage is always maintained.
- Interface with DHS contracted sites and various City agencies in partnership in assisting our clients into independent living.
