Description

The Vanderbilt Department of Philosophy seeks to hire a full-time tenured faculty member at the rank of associate or full professor. AOS: Bioethics. AOC: Open. The position will start in the fall semester of 2026. The typical course load is four courses/year (2/2), including undergraduate and graduate teaching, with standard expectations for service to the department and university.

Qualifications

Applicants must have a record of internationally recognized leading-edge scholarship in their respective fields. Ph.D. in Philosophy required.
