SEND Provision Lead Ardwick, Manchester

We are seeking an experienced and driven SEND Provision Lead to join a welcoming primary school setting in Ardwick. This full-time role is available for a September 2026 start and offers a long term opportunity. The successful candidate will take responsibility for leading and developing the school’s SEND provision, ensuring pupils with additional needs receive high‑quality, tailored support to help them achieve their full potential.

The school is a friendly and inclusive primary setting with a strong commitment to personalised learning and pupil wellbeing. The SEND provision opened in January and will have a SENDCO to plan all the learning and plays a key role in supporting pupils with a range of needs, including ASD, SEMH, and learning difficulties. Staff work collaboratively to create a calm, structured environment, and leadership is supportive and forward‑thinking, placing a strong emphasis on consistency, communication, and high‑quality practice.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the SEND provision along side the SENDCO, ensuring effective support for pupils with additional needs.
• Deliver tailored teaching and interventions within the provision.
• Support and guide staff in implementing consistent SEND strategies.
• Monitor pupil progress and work closely with the SENCO, leadership, and external agencies.

Pre‑requisites:

• HLTA experience in a SEND leadership/support role preferable.
• Strong experience working with pupils with SEND, including ASD and SEMH.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
• A proactive, structured, and nurturing approach to supporting pupils and staff.
