About the Role
Purpose of the Position : Carrying out final inspection of tested valves at shop floor . Verify the approved GAD, QAP & Assembly production order and visually check body, bonnet, other items and enter the heat no with respect to valve serial number and enter SAP and clear the valves for next stage Attend the quality issues in assembly shop and raise the notification against production order. Carryout & inspection of new development valves. Responsibilities: 1. Carrying out Final inspection of valves as per the check list and entering the details in the system. 2. Raising the X2 & X3 Notifications against production order and closing the notification after completion of assigned work . 3. Analysing assembly related quality issues and taking corrective actions by coordinating with incoming inspection & purchase. 4. Analysing the causes of valve leakage along with production and taking corrective actions. 5. Carryout & offering the valves for witness tests to Third Party Inspection agencies /Client inspection and getting IRN – whenever required. 6. Inspection of customer /site returns vales. 7. Carry out visual inspection of painted vales whenever required. 8. Carrying out PMI test on components before assembly as per the customer ITP or QAP -requirements. 9. Witness the cycle test & carry out strip test for product validation purpose based on PMPS requirements 10. Prepare & collect the ITP related documents before assembly ( ex : RIL orders) with inward QM team support. 11. Ensure & monitor the API valve during assembly process and enter the data in SAP during final DPR 12. Preparation of Valve testing Procedures.
