Data Engineer / Data Scientist (AI & LLM Solutions) Expert Date:  Mar 4, 2026 Location:  Warszawa, PL, 00-839 Kraków, PL, 30-302 Poznań, WP, PL, 61-569 Łódź, PL, 90-118 Working place:  Hybrid Type of contract: employment contract  Salary range: 18 800 - 28 500 PLN gross/m      What will you do?    We are looking for a hands-on Data Engineer / Data Scientist with a strong Python background and experience in AI-driven solutions. This role combines solid data engineering capabilities with analytical and modeling skills. You will focus on building scalable data pipelines and developing AI/ML and agent-based solutions leveraging LLM technologies. You will join the Transaction Monitoring area within the Anti-Financial Crime Division at one of our UK banking clients, contributing to advanced analytics and intelligent automation initiatives.    Your tasks    Implement data processing pipelines using Python and PySpark Develop supervised and unsupervised machine learning models Build and evaluate LLM-based and Generative AI solutions (prompting, orchestration, evaluation) Develop analytical and alerting models for financial crime detection Perform business-oriented data analysis and functional design Work within the Big Data ecosystem to process and transform large datasets Optimize distributed data processing jobs (Spark)    Your skills    Minimum 5–6 years of commercial experience in similar roles Very good knowledge of Python 3.x Experience with PySpark and distributed data processing Practical experience within the Big Data ecosystem Experience in developing analytical or alerting models Solid understanding of data pipelines and scalable data architectures Experience with Agentic AI frameworks and AI agent development Knowledge of LLMs and Generative AI (prompt engineering, orchestration, evaluation) Experience in: Machine Learning (Supervised & Unsupervised Learning) Large Language Models (LLM) GCP/VertexAI/Google ADK Generative Models (GANs, Variational Autoencoders – VAE) Experience with Spark (Big Data / Streaming) Data analysis skills including business and functional design English level B2+    Nice to have     Experience in financial services or transaction monitoring Experience in Anti-Financial Crime (AFC) domain Experience working in regulated environments    We offer you    Hybrid work in one of our locations: Lodz, Poznan, Krakow, Warszawa, Wroclaw (2 office days per week)  Working in a highly experienced and dedicated team  Benefit package that can be tailored to your personal needs (private medical coverage, sport & recreation package, lunch subsidy, life insurance, etc.)  On-line training and certifications fit for career path  Access to e-learning platform  Mindgram - a holistic mental health and wellbeing platform  Work From Anywhere (WFA) - the temporary option to work remotely outside of Poland for up to 140 days per year (including Italy, Spain, the UK, Germany, Portugal, and Bulgaria)
