Principal Engineer

<p>My client is an award-winning SaaS company and they are looking for an enthusiastic Principal Engineer to join their growing team. The ideal candidate will be familiar with the full software design life cycle and have had experience developing SaaS/Software products.</p> <p>They should have experience in designing, coding, testing and consistently managing applications. They should be comfortable coding in a number of languages and have an ability to test code in order to maintain high-quality code.</p> <p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li>Design, code, test and manage various applications</li> <li>Experience developing SaaS/Software products</li> <li>Debug code</li> <li>Collaborate with engineering team and product team to establish best products</li> <li>Follow outlined standards of quality related to code and systems</li> <li>Work closely with front-end developers in building and extending APIs</li> <li>Develop automated tests and conduct performance tuning</li> </ul> <p><strong>Skills</strong></p> <ul> <li>Experience with .NET core / .NET</li> <li>Experience building &amp; integrating APIs</li> <li>Excellent knowledge of SQL</li> <li>Familiar with Microsoft Azure &amp; AWS</li> <li>Experience using Frontend technologies React, Angular, Or Vue</li> <li>Excellent communication skills</li> <li>Knowledge of practices and procedures for full software design life cycle</li> </ul> <p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor&#8217;s degree in Computer Science or relevant field</li> <li>5+ years of experience working with .NET</li> </ul> <p><strong>Remuneration:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Salary: up to £100,000</li> <li>Location: Remote Friendly, 1 / 2 days based in Staines-Upon-Thames</li> </ul> <p><em>.Net core / Azure / SaaS / API&#8217;s / React / JavaScript / AWS / GCP / Kubernetes / Principal Engineer</em></p>
