Driver

<p>VGC Group are currently recruiting for an experienced General Driver to join a project based in OX18, Oxford. </p> <p>This is a great opportunity for a reliable and hard-working driver looking for work, with consistent weekday hours and the potential for weekend work. </p> <p>We are looking for someone who can start promptly, work well as part of a team, and support site operations to help keep the project running safely and efficiently. </p> <p><strong>Pay Rate:</strong> &pound;17.38 per hour PAYE </p> <p><strong>As a General Driver on site, your responsibilities may include:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Safely transporting materials, equipment, and personnel to and from site</li> <li>Carrying out daily vehicle checks and ensuring vehicles are maintained in good condition</li> <li>Assisting with loading and unloading deliveries</li> <li>Supporting site teams with general duties when required</li> <li>Ensuring compliance with all site and road safety regulations</li> <li>Planning routes and managing time efficiently to meet site requirements</li> <li>Maintaining accurate records of deliveries and collections</li> <li>Carrying out any other duties as required to support site operations</li> </ul> <p><strong>To be considered for this role, you must have:</strong></p> <ul> <li>A valid full UK driving licence</li> <li>Previous experience working as a driver, ideally within a construction environmen</li> <li>A good work ethic and positive attitude</li> <li>The ability to work well independently and as part of a team</li> <li>Good punctuality and reliability</li> </ul> <p>You must have a valid British passport due to site/client access requirements.
