Also has responsibility for procurement, stocking, kitting, inventory management and repairs/returns to suppliers. Perform the cycle counting process to maintain inventory accuracy. Coordinates inventory consolidations and identifies obsolete materials. Demonstrates initiative and organizational skills required for effective service center operation in accordance with industry best practice standards.</p><p style="line-height: 107%; margin: 0in 0in 8pt; font-size: 11pt; font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;"> <strong>Essential Duties & Responsibilities:</strong></p><ol style="margin-bottom: 0in; margin-top: 0px;"><li style="margin: 0in 0in 0in 0px; line-height: 107%; font-size: 11pt; font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;">Proficient in all aspects of tool and gage crib operations</li><li style="margin: 0in 0in 0in 0px; line-height: 107%; font-size: 11pt; font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;">Manage inventory in an accurate and efficient manner consistent with standard work.</li><li style="margin: 0in 0in 0in 0px; line-height: 107%; font-size: 11pt; font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;">Partner with service center team members to support cross functional activities.</li><li style="margin: 0in 0in 0in 0px; line-height: 107%; font-size: 11pt; font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;">Authenticate that SAP receipts align with business operating systems.</li><li style="margin: 0in 0in 0in 0px; line-height: 107%; font-size: 11pt; font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;">Facilitate indirect purchases of required inventory.</li><li style="margin: 0in 0in 0in 0px; line-height: 107%; font-size: 11pt; font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;">Contact suppliers for emergency purchases of equipment spare parts and procure needed items</li><li style="margin: 0in 0in 0in 0px; line-height: 107%; font-size: 11pt; font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;">Arrange for returns to suppliers for rejected items or items needing repair</li><li style="margin: 0in 0in 0in 0px; line-height: 107%; font-size: 11pt; font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;">Assemble kits for scheduled and emergency work orders requiring spare parts, gages, and tools. Ensure inventory availability and replenish as necessary to minimize equipment downtime.</li><li style="margin: 0in 0in 0in 0px; line-height: 107%; font-size: 11pt; font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;">Manage returns to suppliers for rejected items or items needing repair.</li><li style="margin: 0in 0in 0in 0px; line-height: 107%; font-size: 11pt; font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;">Resolve service organization concerns or obstacles with the resources of the Tooling Operations group.</li><li style="margin: 0in 0in 0in 0px; line-height: 107%; font-size: 11pt; font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;">Conduct inventory consolidations and supports obsolescence initiatives.</li><li style="margin: 0in 0in 0in 0px; line-height: 107%; font-size: 11pt; font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;">Provide internal customer service for shop associates.</li><li style="margin: 0in 0in 0in 0px; line-height: 107%; font-size: 11pt; font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;">Helps create standard work, SPL's, metrics or spread sheets.</li><li style="margin: 0in 0in 0in 0px; line-height: 107%; font-size: 11pt; font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;">Audits and troubleshoots advanced transactional issues and can run reports.</li><li style="margin: 0in 0in 0in 0px; line-height: 107%; font-size: 11pt; font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;"><a name="_Int_NCVshhbO"></a>Looks for ways to improve and know how to troubleshoot the system regarding SAP, CribMaster, Tabware, and Gage Application.</li><li style="margin: 0in 0in 0in 0px; line-height: 107%; font-size: 11pt; font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;">Documents communication; communicates to all shifts, including supervisors, scheduler; in the supervisor’s absence, takes any pertinent information and communicates it up to the supervisor of the next shift.</li><li style="margin: 0in 0in 0in 0px; line-height: 107%; font-size: 11pt; font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;">Investigates and/or helps implement suggestions from CIAS’s.</li><li style="margin: 0in 0in 0in 0px; line-height: 107%; font-size: 11pt; font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;">Able to audit and make improvements in the area using 5S.</li><li style="margin: 0in 0in 0in 0px; line-height: 107%; font-size: 11pt; font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;">Knowledge of and adherence to proper safety practices and procedures applicable to this role</li><li style="margin: 0in 0in 8pt 0px;
