IT specialists in system integration are employed at Fraunhofer IIS in the administration of the IIS computer environment. This includes the following activities at our institute:

• Configuration and administration of workstations (mainly Windows PCs with standard applications and special software, but also MAC and UNIX systems) and the network infrastructure
• Administration of file and application servers
• IT support for scientific projects
• Software management

These activities require a high degree of willingness to learn and the ability to work in a team, as well as a structured and analytical way of thinking. As solutions are not always found by conventional means, you should be creative and open to new ideas! A good secondary school leaving certificate is a prerequisite for training.
