Accounts Assistant

​Sharp Consultancy are supporting a high performing business in Leeds City Centre to recruit an Accounts Assistant on a temporary on-going basis. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with numbers, supporting a busy finance function, and being part of a friendly, collaborative environment. ​ Key Responsibilities: Process purchase invoices, staff expenses, and supplier payments Prepare and send sales invoices and assist with credit control Reconcile bank statements, supplier accounts, and internal ledgers Maintain accurate financial records. Support month end tasks including journals, accruals, and reporting. Handle finance inbox queries and liaise with suppliers. Assist with VAT returns and other compliance tasks. Provide general administrative support to the Finance Manager. About You: Previous experience in an accounts assistant role. Strong numerical skills and excellent attention to detail. Confident using Excel and accounting software. Good communication skills and a proactive, positive attitude. Ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines. What We Offer: Ongoing temporary role.
