About the Role

<p>Anderson Knight is delighted to be recruiting a Manufacturing Salesperson for a client within the manufaturing sector. This position is ideal for someone with manufacturing sales experience who thrives on building relationships, closing deals and contributing directly to business success.</p> <p><strong>The Role</strong></p> <ul> <li>Take ownership of a portfolio of accounts, driving repeat business while proactively identifying and converting new sales opportunities over the phone.</li> <li>Leverage your understanding of manufacturing processes and products to confidently engage customers, identify needs, and offer effective solutions.</li> <li>Collaborate closely with the wider sales team to achieve and exceed revenue targets.</li> <li>Accurately record customer interactions, opportunities, and market insights.</li> <li>Coordinate closely with production teams to ensure customer requirements are delivered efficiently and on time.</li> <li>Manage customer queries and resolve issues quickly, maintaining strong and lasting relationships.</li> <li>Support the day-to-day running of the sales office, ensuring a smooth and organised operation.</li> </ul> <p><strong>About You</strong></p> <p>This role is perfect for a commercially driven individual who enjoys the challenge of sales within a manufacturing setting and is motivated by results.</p> <ul> <li>Previous experience in a sales role, ideally within manufacturing, construction materials, or a related B2B environment.</li> <li>A strong understanding of manufacturing or production-led sales processes is highly advantageous.</li> <li>A target-driven mindset with a passion for winning business and growing accounts.</li> <li>Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence over the phone and via email.</li> <li>Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.</li> <li>Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; experience with ERP/CRM systems is beneficial.</li> <li>High attention to detail and a proactive, solutions-focused approach.</li> <li>Flexibility to travel between sites when required.</li> </ul> <p>If you’re looking to build a long-term career in manufacturing sales and want to be part of a growing, ambitious business, this is a fantastic opportunity to make your mark.
