About the role:
Justteachers is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Drama Teacher to join a welcoming secondary school in Bradford from September 2026 until December 2026. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate educator to inspire students through creative and engaging Drama lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
The successful candidate will be committed to delivering high-quality teaching and fostering a positive learning environment that encourages confidence, creativity, and self-expression.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Drama lessons in line with the national curriculum.
- Teach Drama across KS3 and KS4, preparing students for examinations where applicable.
- Assess, monitor, and report on student progress.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Differentiate lessons to meet the needs of all learners.
- Support extracurricular activities, school productions, and performances where appropriate.
- Maintain high standards of classroom behaviour and student engagement.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to the wider school community.
Pre-requisites:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
- Experience teaching Drama within a UK secondary school setting.
- Strong classroom management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- A passion for Drama and creative arts education.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
- Two school based references.
