BI Engineer

To qualify for the role, you must have: 5+ years of commercial experience in similar role  Strong experience with Power BI  Experience in using various data sources, e.g. SQL, Sharepoint, flat files, web sources.  Strong experience in and understanding of relational and dimensional databases design and implementation.  Understanding of the importance of governance and security rules when handling data  Experience in converting business problems/challenges to technical solutions considering security, performance, scalability etc.  Experience in enterprise-class solution implementations  Flexible and proactive/self-motivated working style with strong personal ownership of problem resolution excellent inter-personal skills  Very good English (verbal and written)  Ideally, you’ll also have: Experience in using Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.)  Experience in developing ETL in Azure Data Factory, SSIS, Informatica, MS Fabric etc.  Experience in another BI tool like Tableau, Qlik Sense, SAP BO, Cognos, OBIEE  Experience in BI/ETL tools on Azure/GCP/AWS cloud  Experience in other RDBMS like Oracle, DB2, Teradata  Czym będziesz się zajmować? You are able to design, implement and deploy reports, dashboards, data models and access rules for end users.  Skills and attributes for success: Solving complex business problems at large scale. Understanding business needs and fulfilling them with the right solution. Participation in a cross-functional initiatives and collaboration across various domains. Acting as SME for business intelligence related issues in large projects. Interacting with data engineers, product/project managers and partners from all over the world.
