About the Role

Connections Reform Connections Reform Discover how CR and CP30 components play a vital role in electrical systems—enhancing safety, efficiency, and control in both residential and industrial applications. On Friday 13th February, NESO published a joint update to the timeline for issuing offers to Gate 2 customers as part of the Connections Reform process. This update is available on the NESO website. Please email connections-reform@enwl.co.uk if you have any queries. Clean Power 2030 (CP30) is the UK’s bold strategy to fully decarbonize its electricity system by the end of the decade. Connections Reform and Clean Power 2030 We are currently moving towards the implementation phase of Connections Reform, also known as TMO4+. This is a NESO led reform where they have worked closely with all the Network Companies (both Distribution and Transmission) along with Ofgem, Government and industry stakeholders. TMO4+ will change the way in which Transmission Capacity and Network Access is both applied for, reviewed and offered.  This will apply to directly connected schemes at Transmission level and to RELEVANT EMBEDDED GENERATION on the Distribution networks. The purpose of Connections Reform is to address the Pipeline of contracted schemes which is currently much bigger than will be needed by the country over the next 10-15 years, includes a potentially high volume of “Zombie” projects that are not proceeding towards connection, all of which is driving the need for significant wider reinforcement works particularly on the Transmission network and long connection dates. Connection Reform is intended to move the industry towards a FIRST READY AND NEEDED, FIRST CONNECTED process What is Connections Reform and why is it needed Read More What is Clean Power 2030 Read More Gate 2 To Whole Queue (G2TWQ) Read More Update Webinars Read More FAQs Read More Contact Us Read More
