Our client, a leading mobility company in Fort Dodge, IA is searching for a mechanically inclined and reliable Service Technician! This company prides itself on helping individuals regain independence through mobility solutions in their homes, offices, and vehicles. You’ll be meeting with customers and installing equipment. This is a day time position working Monday-Friday, no weekends!

Responsibilities:
- Install new mobility equipment (ramps, stair lifts, platform lifts) and test thoroughly to ensure correct operation.
- Educate clients on how to safely use and maintain their new equipment.
- Perform routine maintenance and provide top-tier customer support.
- Diagnose mechanical or technical problems and implement effective repair solutions.
- Identify and order necessary parts for repairs as needed.
- Document and maintain detailed records of all services and installations performed.
- Explain equipment issues and repairs to customers in a clear, professional manner to build lasting relationships.
Requirements:
- Ability to install, repair, service, test, and troubleshoot equipment; must be naturally mechanically inclined.
- Excellent interpersonal and diagnostic skills to work effectively with clients.
- Must be able to bend, lift heavy equipment, and work comfortably in confined spaces.
- Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision and manage time across changing schedules.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to travel between store locations.
- A willingness to learn and a passion for helping others in need.
