About the Role

<p><strong>Experienced Sustainability Consultant (BREEAM Assessor)</strong></p> <p><strong>Location:</strong> Bristol<br /><strong>Working Policy:</strong> Hybrid<br /><strong>Salary:</strong> £30,000 &#8211; £40,000 (DOE)</p> <h3><strong>The Opportunity</strong></h3> <p>Are you passionate about driving sustainability in the built environment? Looking to take a hands-on role supporting net zero goals and improving building performance?</p> <p>We&#8217;re working with a forward-thinking consultancy seeking a <strong>Sustainability Consultant &amp; BREEAM Assessor</strong> to join their growing Energy &amp; Sustainability team in Bristol.</p> <p>This is a fantastic opportunity to work closely with <strong>MEP Engineers and Building Physics specialists</strong>, contributing to a wide variety of impactful, sustainability-led projects across multiple sectors.</p> <h3> </h3> <h3><strong>What&#8217;s on Offer</strong></h3> <ul> <li>Salary between £30,000 &#8211; £40,000 depending on experience</li> <li>Hybrid working arrangement for improved flexibility</li> <li>Ongoing training and clear career progression opportunities</li> <li>Exposure to a diverse range of sustainability-focused projects</li> <li>Supportive, collaborative, and growing team environment</li> </ul> <h3> </h3> <h3><strong>What You&#8217;ll Be Doing</strong></h3> <ul> <li>Delivering environmental assessments and sustainability certifications (including BREEAM and HQM)</li> <li>Developing energy strategies, sustainability reports, and resource efficiency studies</li> <li>Working with clients and design teams to embed sustainability across project stages</li> <li>Managing project delivery, including tracking progress, budgets, and programme timelines</li> <li>Supporting wider sustainability services such as planning submissions, energy and water assessments</li> <li>Staying up to date with industry standards, regulations, and emerging best practice</li> <li>Supporting and mentoring junior team members where required</li> <li>Contributing to whole life carbon and embodied carbon assessments when needed</li> </ul> <h3> </h3> <h3><strong>What We&#8217;re Looking For</strong></h3> <ul> <li>Proven experience delivering <strong>BREEAM or similar sustainability certifications</strong></li> <li>Qualified <strong>BREEAM Assessor (essential)</strong> &#8211; AP status advantageous</li> <li>Understanding of frameworks such as HQM, WELL, SKA, Fitwel, CEEQUAL, DREAM, etc.</li> <li>Strong awareness of net zero principles, LETI guidance, and UK regulations</li> <li>Experience across sustainability consultancy or project delivery environments</li> <li>Exposure to embodied carbon or LCA work (beneficial)</li> <li>Strong communication, organisation, and stakeholder management skills</li> <li>Genuine passion for sustainability and improving building performance</li> </ul> <h3> </h3> <h3><strong>Why Apply?</strong></h3> <p>This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing consultancy where you can play a key role in delivering meaningful sustainability outcomes, develop your technical expertise, and progress your career within a supportive and forward-thinking team.</p> <p>Apply today or get in touch to find out more.</p> <p><img src="https://counter.adcourier.com/SmFtZXNXaWxsaWFtcy4wMDIzNC4xMTMwOUBwZW5ndWlucmVjcnVpdG1lbnQuYXBsaXRyYWsuY29t.gif"></p>
