What you’ll be doing Teaching English across KS3 and KS4, with potential for KS5 depending on experience Planning and delivering lessons that actually stick, not just fill time Creating a classroom where students feel confident to speak up and have a go Marking and assessment, without unnecessary workload piling up Working alongside a collaborative and down-to-earth department What we’re looking for UK QTS (or equivalent) A confident classroom presence, you know how to hold a room without shouting over it A passion for English, whether that’s Shakespeare, spoken word, or helping a reluctant reader finally get it Someone who builds rapport quickly and brings consistency to their teaching ECTs and experienced teachers both welcome What you’ll get in return Pay to scale, no complicated pay structures A school that supports you, not second-guesses you Access to our FREE CPD Academy, including ongoing training Weekly PAYE pay, no umbrella companies A dedicated consultant who actually listens and gets what you’re looking for Opportunities across a range of schools if you want flexibility or progression Let’s be honest. A great English teacher can change how a student sees the world, and themselves. If you’re ready for a role where that matters, and where you’re backed to do your best work, we’d love to chat.
