<p><strong>Hours:</strong> Monday – Friday</p>
<p><strong>Salary: </strong>£35,000 – £45,000</p>

<p><strong>Job Description</strong></p>
<p>Our client is a specialist manufacturer of high-quality CNC machined and precision-engineered components, supporting industries where accuracy, reliability, and performance are critical.</p>
<p>They are seeking an ambitious and commercially driven Business Development Manager to support continued growth, develop new business opportunities, and strengthen key customer relationships across a range of technical sectors. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established engineering business and play a key role in shaping its future success.</p>

<p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Identify and secure new business opportunities across aerospace, defence, energy, automotive, and scientific sectors</li>
<li>Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with both new and existing clients</li>
<li>Manage the full sales pipeline, including forecasting, reporting, and opportunity tracking</li>
<li>Collaborate closely with engineering and production teams to develop technical proposals and quotations</li>
<li>Represent the business at industry events, trade shows, and customer meetings</li>
<li>Develop a strong understanding of client requirements to deliver tailored engineering solutions</li>
</ul>

<p><strong>Key Skills </strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Proven experience in a Business Development or Sales role within precision engineering or CNC machining</li>
<li>Strong technical understanding of machining processes and the ability to interpret engineering drawings</li>
<li>Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills</li>
<li>Commercially aware with a proactive, self-motivated approach</li>
<li>Ability to manage multiple opportunities and prioritise effectively</li>
</ul>
