Job Description:Required Skills5+ years of experience in Mainframe application development or modernization.Experience with Mainframe to Java migration projects.Strong knowledge of Mainframe technologies such as COBOL, JCL, CICS, VSAM, DB2, or IMS.Hands-on experience with Java and/or Python development.Experience using AI-assisted engineering tools such as GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Devin, Gemini, or similar platforms.Strong understanding of software modernization, code refactoring, and migration methodologies.Experience with REST APIs, system integration, and application testing.Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

Preferred QualificationsExperience with cloud migration projects (AWS, Azure, or GCP).Knowledge of Microservices and Spring Boot.Experience with automated code conversion and modernization frameworks.Familiarity with DevOps tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.Experience with SQL/DB2 data migration and modernization.
