About the Role

Sirius Staffing is seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Control Specialist to support inventory operations within a fast-paced industrial environment for a contract to perm role in Santa Clara, CA. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, organizing stock locations, coordinating replenishment activities, and supporting property administration functions. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, experience working with inventory management systems, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy. Key Responsibilities Maintain accurate inventory records for gas and chemical components, including quantities, locations, and condition. Monitor inventory levels and ensure adequate stock availability. Define, maintain, and standardize inventory storage locations, including buildings, shelves, bins, and kanban areas. Coordinate ordering and replenishment activities to prevent inventory shortages. Receive and stock materials while accurately entering data into inventory management systems. Track inventory performance metrics and collect KPIs to support continuous improvement initiatives. Assist with property administration, including: Asset tagging Photographing property Data entry and record keeping Inventory tracking Supporting space allocation decisions Support Health and Safety initiatives as needed, including labeling and moving gas cylinders or chemical inventory. Perform additional duties as assigned to support operations. Preferred Qualifications Experience using an enterprise asset management or inventory tracking system. Experience with Sunflower Asset Management System is highly preferred but not required. Background in inventory control, warehouse operations, logistics, or property administration. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work effectively with customers, vendors, and internal teams. Ability to manage multiple tasks and competing priorities while meeting deadlines. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat. Experience working with internal vendors and service contractors is a plus. Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate records.
