Job Description

What the Purchasing Representative will be expected to do:

• Source and procure materials and goods in line with company requirements.
• Negotiate terms with suppliers to achieve cost savings and quality standards.
• Monitor supplier performance and maintain strong relationships to ensure reliability.
• Collaborate with the supply chain team to forecast demand and optimise inventory levels.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies and industry regulations.
• Analyse market trends to identify potential risks or opportunities for cost efficiencies.
• Prepare and maintain accurate records of purchasing activities and contracts.
• Assist in resolving any issues related to deliveries, invoices, or supplier performance.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Purchasing Representative should have:

• Previous experience in procurement or supply chain within the FMCG industry.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills to liaise effectively with suppliers.
• Proficiency in using procurement or ERP software.
• A detail-oriented approach with strong organisational skills.
