Holy Family Regional Catholic School, located in the heart of Aston, Pennsylvania, is seeking a dependable, organized, and caring NDS Food Program Manager to oversee the school’s daily food-service program.

The Food Program Manager plays an important role in supporting this mission by ensuring that students receive nutritious meals in a safe, organized, efficient, and welcoming environment.

Position Responsibilities

The NDS Food Program Manager will:

  • Coordinate the school’s daily breakfast and lunch services in accordance with Nutritional Development Services requirements.
  • Receive, organize, store, prepare, and distribute food safely and efficiently.
  • Maintain accurate meal counts, inventory records, production records, and other required program documentation.
  • Submit required reports and paperwork accurately and on time.
  • Monitor food and supply inventory and place orders as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with all food-safety, sanitation, health, and NDS program requirements.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized kitchen and food-service area.
  • Follow appropriate procedures for food storage, temperature monitoring, preparation, service, and disposal.
  • Coordinate and supervise food-service employees and volunteers, when applicable.
  • Communicate effectively with NDS representatives, school administration, faculty, staff, students, and families.
  • Provide courteous and caring service while helping create a positive lunchtime experience for students.
  • Attend required training and remain current with NDS policies and procedures.

Qualifications
  • Prior experience in food service, school nutrition, hospitality, or program management preferred.
  • Strong organizational, communication, recordkeeping, and time-management skills.
  • Ability to follow detailed procedures and maintain accurate records.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with school personnel and NDS representatives.
  • Commitment to food safety, sanitation, professionalism, and excellent service.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and safely lift and move food, supplies, and equipment as required.
  • Willingness to support and uphold the mission and values of a Catholic school.
  • Ability to complete all required NDS training, Safe Environment training, and criminal and child-abuse background checks.
