About the Role

<p><strong>About the Role:</strong></p> <p>We are currently looking for a highly organised and proactive <strong>Scheduler</strong> to join our team based at Sapphire House in Milton Keynes. This is a pivotal role where you’ll be responsible for the coordination and scheduling of daily work activities for a team of operatives, ensuring that workloads are balanced, emergencies are handled efficiently, and customer satisfaction remains a top priority.</p> <p>This position offers an excellent opportunity to build on your planning or logistics experience in a busy, fast-paced environment where no two days are the same. You’ll play a key role in supporting both our operatives on the ground and the residents we serve, helping to deliver a high-quality and efficient service every day.</p> <p><strong>Role Details:</strong></p> <ul> <li> <p><strong>Location:</strong> Milton Keynes (Sapphire House, office-based)</p> </li> <li> <p><strong>Hours:</strong> Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM</p> </li> <li> <p><strong>Salary:</strong> £27,250 per annum, with progression opportunities available</p> </li> <li> <p><strong>Contract:</strong> 12-month Fixed Term Contract (FTC)</p> </li> </ul> <hr /> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p> <ul> <li> <p>Efficiently schedule and allocate daily work for up to 20 operatives, ensuring full and productive diaries</p> </li> <li> <p>Manage emergency works and ensure response targets and KPIs are consistently met</p> </li> <li> <p>Liaise with supervisors to arrange inspections and respond to variations as needed</p> </li> <li> <p>Deliver outstanding customer service to residents and clients, handling enquiries and issues professionally and promptly</p> </li> <li> <p>Collaborate with colleagues to achieve daily and weekly workload allocation targets</p> </li> <li> <p>Maintain accurate records and utilise scheduling systems effectively to monitor progress and performance</p> </li> </ul> <hr /> <p><strong>What We’re Looking For:</strong></p> <ul> <li> <p>Previous experience in a planning, scheduling, or logistics role – ideally in a fast-paced environment</p> </li> <li> <p>Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with a professional and empathetic approach</p> </li> <li> <p>Excellent multitasking abilities and a calm, solutions-focused mindset when working under pressure</p> </li> <li> <p>Good IT skills and familiarity with scheduling systems or CRM software</p> </li> <li> <p>Experience within construction, housing, or property services is advantageous but not essential</p> </li> <li> <p>A team player who is motivated, reliable, and committed to providing a high standard of service</p> </li> </ul> <hr /> <p>If you&#8217;re someone who thrives in a structured role, enjoys problem-solving, and wants to be part of a supportive and driven team, we would love to hear from you.</p> <p><strong>To apply</strong>, or for more information, please contact <strong>Leah Seber</strong> at <strong>Build Recruit</strong>.</p>
