Manager – Line Delivery & Sequencing• Location: Columbia, SC • On-site – Relocation Offered • Full-Time, Direct Hire • Salary: $120K–$145K + Full Benefits Sirius Staffing is partnering with a leading automotive manufacturer to hire a Manager of Line Delivery & Sequencing. This is a high-impact leadership role supporting a brand-new, high-volume production facility. You will lead the in-plant logistics operation that keeps the assembly line running smoothly, ensuring the right parts arrive at the right place, at the right time, and in the right sequence to support uninterrupted production. This is a unique opportunity to build and shape logistics processes from the ground up. ResponsibilitiesOversee end-to-end in-plant material flow & line delivery operations from warehouse/storage through assemblyLead and manage Just-In-Time (JIT), Just-In-Sequence (JIS), sequencing, and line-side replenishment operationsManage line feeding, picking (supermarkets), staging, and material replenishment processesDirect internal transportation operations, including tuggers, AGVs, forklifts, and material handling equipmentBuild, implement, and optimize in-house logistics, material flow, and line delivery processes from the ground upPartner closely with Production Planning, Materials, and Operations teams to ensure material availability aligns with build schedulesLead, develop, and mentor logistics & material handling teams in a manufacturing environmentDrive continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, efficiency, material flow, and reducing downtime Requirements10+ years of experience in automotive materials, logistics, or manufacturing operations3+ years of leadership experience in a warehouse, materials, logistics, or operational environmentExperience working within an automotive OEM environment or supporting OEM assembly operationsExperience with internal transport systems, including AGVs, tuggers, forklifts, and milk-run operationsStrong experience supporting high-volume assembly operations through materials, logistics, warehouse, or line delivery functionsHands-on experience with Just-In-Time (JIT) and Just-In-Sequence (JIS) delivery systemsExperience managing warehouse, in-plant logistics, materials, or line delivery operationsExperience designing, implementing, or improving material flow and logistics processesMust be authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future sponsorshipBackground in line feeding operations and supermarket/staging setupsExposure to planning, strategy, and process development initiativesExperience managing container flow, including full and empty container return processes Sirius Staffing is an equal opportunity employer.
