Part Time Floral Clerk

Job Overview: Cub Lakeville West off Kenwood Trail is looking for a dedicated individual to fill a Part Time Floral position! Floral team members at Cub maintain plants and flowers to assist customers in selecting floral products. This position requires on-going customer interaction, providing prompt, courteous, and accurate service!   Job Responsibilities: Assist customers and ensure proper service levels and courtesy from all associates  Handles floral goods in a safe manner and ensures the work area is clean and neat    Perform product scanning and processing of customer order in an accurate, efficient and prompt manner      Reviews the status and appearance of flowers for freshness  Sorts floral loads as assigned  Anticipates product needs for the department  Assist with customer questions or requests   Job Requirements: Equipment operation (scanner, register, check approval machine, coupon machine, intercom, calculator, etc.).   Able to stand for long periods of time.   Memorization, reading, writing and math.   The position requires on-going customer interaction, providing prompt, courteous and accurate service.   Good judgment is required for this position as there may be times when direct supervision may not be immediately available.   Have the ability to understand and follow verbal or demonstrated instructions; write identifying information; request supplies verbally or in writing.   Must be able to work shifts varying in length and time, including nights, weekends and holidays.   Must be 16 years of age and older.   Physical Requirements: Lifting/carrying up to 50 lbs.   Walking on uneven ground   Reaching, bending, turning, repetitive motions   Schedule: Varied weekly shifts  Weekends are required   Benefits: Flexible schedule for work life balance.  Employee discount.  Weekly pay on a progressive union scale.  Union benefits for eligible associates including Paid Time Off.  My Cub.
